"Professor Phineas T. Boggs & His Incredible GOBAC Time Machine: Elijah and the Famine "

This play is a delightful musical about 6 young people who are transported back in time by the jovial and eccentric Professor Phineas T. Boggs. Professor Boggs built his time machine to take people back in time to learn from history. The only problem is he never knows exactly where the machine will land! In this play, he attempts to take the young people back to the days of Elijah and the Famine. There they learn valuable lessons from the great prophet Elijah, the widow of Zaraphath, the wicked rulers Ahab and Jezebel, and others.

The play will be performed by the Elementary and High School students of the 2011 Academy of Arts Homeschool Drama Camp after completing a week of intensive training by a team from The Academy of Arts, a Christian drama and music ministry from Taylors, SC.
