The K-6th students will be doing a fun musical about a teacher and her class who visit a farm and learn about God's wonderful creation. Join Miss Klingle, Beverly, Darla, Georgia, Jeff, Margaret and the others as they learn from the Farmer what good gifts God has given us. Songs include "I Can't Wait," "We're Off for a Day in the Country," "This Here Modern Generation," "The Vegetable Song," "The Cow Song" and "Every Good and Perfect Gift."

"Joseph of Arimathea" (High School Play) presented on Saturday, November 7th at 2:00pm.
The 7th-12th grade drama will be "Joseph of Arimathea," a brand new play from the Academy of Arts. Joseph of Arimathea, like many people today, served mammon openly and God secretly. Joseph struggled with accepting the appearance of angels to Zacharias, to Mary and to Joseph of Nazareth. He and his wealthy friend Nicodemus, both of them sincerely seeking the Kingdom of God, go to see Jesus by night. As a result, these two members of the Sanhedrin secretly become believers for fear of the Jews. Realizing that money does not satisfy, Joseph goes to Cyprus to sell all his possessions and give them to Jesus and His disciples. He returns to Jerusalem only to find that Jesus has been condemned to death and now hangs on a Roman cross. He then proclaims Christ openly and goes to Pilate to beg the body of Jesus, which he places in his own new tomb - the only possession he has left.

Plays will be presented at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave., York, PA 17408
